I Became A Mexican
Hi everyone,
This may come as a shock to you all but yesterday I became a mexican. It was a beautiful cermony with all of my new "Munchahcos". I vowed to everyone there that I would embrace my new found heritage and live life as do all my mexican brothers.
How has my life changed? Well, today I woke up and ate a "burrito con huevos Y salchicha." I will translate for all those who don't speak mexican. Burrito is mexican for ....burrito, huevos means eggs and salchicha, I think means sausage but it tasted good so I didn't ask thinking it could be like dog or something.
I now am looking to find a job doing something mexican like working at a car wash or in a field. Driving around in my 84 pinto, I stop were ever I can to find work but in a countrylike the United States my new home it is hard to find work. They keep telling me that I need a "Socials Sercurity nombre" but it ihas taken me awhile to learn this new "Engilsh" langauge. It 's becoming a problem. I have kids kids to feed, you know. Maria, Juan, Pepe, jackie, and roberto JR, have to eat.
Today for lunch, I will have a taco, do some salsa dancing and take a siesta, which means nap so you know I am super excited for that. Tonight me and the other 13 people in my apartment are supposed to drink "mucho servasas." I just want to have a beer but I guess if it gets you there it gets you there.
Tomrrow I will apply for US citizen ship but I don't know if I can pass the test.
I hope you are all doing well.
